Pawtucket, RI discovers time capsules from former minor league baseball stadium during demolition for new High School.  This 85 year old time capsule was suspected to be buried on site but was unsure where it was located.

Crews had "an exciting moment for our team to discover, identify and carefully preserve the capsule found in the stadium’s original cornerstone. We’re continuing to search for the second rumoured time capsule and have deployed ground-penetrating radar technology to support this effort. We remain committed to a safe, respectful process every step of the way.” said Chris Maury, head of preconstruction from Shawmut Design and Construction.

Well, they found that one too! Now the former Pawtucket Red Soxs who moved back in 2021 from the the former McCoy Stadium site, have scheduled to open both at a June 23rd ceremony commemorating the 44th anniversary of the longest-ever professional baseball game.   Can't wait to see what they found.  Stay tuned.
